Here’s a character for my next animation! He’s a polar bear! For this guy, I am trying out Roma Plasticina. Once I got the clay heated up it was great to work with. The clay is white, which is, of course, why he’s a polar bear. Hopefully I will have an animation test soon.

For Christmas, I am giving my Dad an original drawing. He’s into birding, so I chose a bird as a subject. What kind of bird did I choose?

Anyway… wow! I haven’t posted a sketch in years! And it’s really been a while since I’ve done a color drawing. I feel like I’m a bit rusty, but I’m still happy with how it turned out! I was also planning a companion to this one, which I hope to complete soon. Given my choice for the first bird drawing, any guesses what the second bird will be? <wink>
